🚨 MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Call 911 (US) / 999 (UK) / 112 (EU) if someone is unresponsive or not breathing. Never Use Alone (US): 1-800-484-3731.

Core Principles

01 — Test
Use reagent kits and fentanyl test strips before any use.
02 — Start Low
Begin with 10–20% of intended dose. Wait for full onset.
03 — Never Alone
Have a trusted person present or call Never Use Alone hotline.
04 — Naloxone
Keep naloxone accessible whenever opioids may be present.
05 — Combinations
Opioids + benzos + alcohol = extreme respiratory depression risk.
06 — Overdose Signs
Slow breathing, blue lips, unresponsive — call emergency services now.

Opioid Overdose Response

  1. Call emergency services immediately
  2. Administer naloxone — nasal spray per nostril, repeat after 2–3 min if needed
  3. Rescue breathing if not breathing — one breath every 5 seconds
  4. Recovery position once breathing resumes — stay until EMS arrives
